His head is resting on my shoulder.
His hands firmly grasp my collar.
But his gently sucking on his pacifier
And even breaths belie
The intensity of his cuddle.
Should I move or try to lie him down
I would know his determination
Not to sleep
Not to let go
Not to be away from me.
Don't you know, little boy,
My hold on to you is just as tight.
And although I put you down
You still are with me
Invading my dreams.
