Week 5 Pictures

November 26: Actually taken on Monday, this was a tent I made out of couch cushions and fabric for my little explorer, but I had to crawl in with him for it to be complete.

November 27: The bodice of this dress is one of my favorite shirts of Thomas's. The skirt was one I made as a costume for Beatrix Potter. Put it together and what have you got? Bibbity Bobbity Boo...

November 28: We had venison that my brother gave us. It was really good, so I took a picture and sent it to him. 

November 29: We got our first order on the website!!! Fulfilled and shipped. Still learning how to do this online business, but at least we are learning...

November 30: My amazing sister came and organized my attic so we could make a sewing room, not in the play room. I am so excited to get up there and sew!

Week 4 Pictures

November 19: Since it was our anniversary, I should have taken a picture of Thomas and I, but instead, I got some sweet pictures of the boys.

November 20: Also taken on the 19th.

November 21: We go this new double candle holder, which is really beautiful. The candles are beeswax so they burn so nicely.

November 22: I went into school to help with Eamon's class's Thanksgiving Party. It was so much fun! Sometimes I miss teaching Kindergarten, but most of the time, I am just so thankful to be a mom who can come in and help.

I didn't take any picture on Thanksgiving day, though my husband got some really nice ones. And Friday was very much a recovery day, so I also didn't take any pictures on that day either. But here was a cool chair that I saw the next day. It is made from ties.

November 25: The sky was beautiful on the way up to our extended family's sing-a-long.

Week 2 Pictures

November 5th: The best way to end the weekend is family coloring night. Except then we want to stay up to late to finish our pictures...

November 6th: Olive Fingers...

Nov 7: The winter weather has set in, although the snow only lasted a day. We went to a friend's house to celebrate with a birthday lunch. As we were finishing, a child yelled, "It's snowing!" The birthday boy kept saying, "God blessed me with snow! God blessed me!"

November 8th: Getting ready for the Christmas Bazaar at church... they all sold! Now I am making more to sell a The No Clutter Mom shop!

November 9th: Take 2 of tiramisu, enjoyed by all. I made the sponge cake and the filling the week before, but I refrigerated it all, hoping it would last until my mother-in-law came. I put it together in the morning and by the evening all the flavors blended deliciously. It could have used a bit more filling, but I didn't have any more left from before.

November 10th: The morning we wished would never end. In this picture, Aunty is telling the story of the Nutcracker. Not pictured is stories and stories and PJ Mask adventures and talking and wishing it could last for a long time.

November 11: Flash back to Thursday. This is my nephew up on his tip toes, trying to play Legos like his cousins. I love his little toes.

First Week of November

A few years ago, I took a picture for every day in November. I thought I'd try it again.

Nov. 1: I went to Walmart to find good prices on Halloween Costumes. We got Ant Man and Iron Man.

Nov. 2: We also got Batman and Robin

Nov. 3: My sister and I tried our hand at making tiramisu. I learned lots and think I would try it again sometime. I'd use a different sponge cake recipe though.

Nov. 4: We had some neighbor boys over to play in the yard (I wouldn't let them in because my boys had been inside all day). I had also hung up the boys blankets to air them out one last time before the cold sets in. The four boys had so much fun playing in and around the blankets, but I was afraid of opening the door and disturbing them. When my camera focused on the screen, I felt it captured the distance between their imaginary world an my real one.
