I had several blogs running through my head today. But none of them are
getting written today. There is too much to do. However, I uploaded some
adorable pictures from this past month and wanted to share them.

Grandma has spent several days with us. It is such a blessing to have someone to hold him while I get stuff done, and Grandma has quite the knack for keeping him happy. Of course, she doesn't remember who he is or that she has held him for hours by the time she leaves, but we still have a pleasant time.
It has been getting colder, so we sometimes put him in his little elf outfit/snow suit before we take him outside.
He is getting better at holding up his head and rolling over. He doesn't like being on his belly for very long, but every now and again, when I lay him down to "exercise" he just puts his head down and whimpers like he is too tired to do anything. He makes the most pitiful sad faces, but I don't have any pictures of them.
He is usually a happy little boy. This picture was taken just a few minutes before he filled his diaper to overflowing. I think he was planning on how he could get a bath...
I know it is blurry, but I wanted to share a picture of his smile. I had to hurry to make sure I got one.
He currently is weighing in at 7lbs, 12 oz. I think he is coming down with a cold because he has some serious post-nasal drip and yesterday had a low fever.
For several nights he has been sleeping until 4 am. The blessing is more hours of uninterrupted sleep; the problem is that my day starts at 4, and I don't always get to nap. I know that this sleep schedule probably won't last, so I will try to focus on the blessing side of it.
In other news, the first ESL course came to a conclusion. I played my flute for the first time since last spring when I realized I couldn't get enough breath in. I have finished my Christmas shopping. And we are planning an adventure starting tomorrow.
