Fountains of the Deep

Baby Eamon has been very good at keeping his diaper wet and everything else dry. When a tiny little baby, he would fountain occasionally. But more recently, he has realized he likes being without anything on. Lady Mommy has not minded this because in the time it takes to clean him up and get the new diaper ready, he dries out which limits diaper rash. Of course things would change on a day that we were feeling a little rushed.

It has been mentioned previously that Baby Eamon is rather regular about diaper filling times. One Sunday Morning, Lady Mommy was waiting for the ritual, and because she was expecting an explosion, delayed putting on Baby Eamon's Sunday clothes. So it was right before it was time to go and Lady Mommy was changing Baby Eamon's diaper and getting out his Sunday clothes, and he started to fountain.

Not completely unprepared, Lady Mommy quickly placed the old diaper over the fountain of the deep, and waited for him to finish his business. Thinking the adventure was over, she removed the diaper to try again, and got far enough to wrap up the old diaper,when fountains of the deep started again. Quickly she grabbed a wet wipe to help absorb the mess. With more caution than before, she withdrew the saturated wet wipe. She threw it away and prepared to wipe down Baby Eamon, since he had gotten it on himself. When all of a sudden, he fountained again. This time she just let the fountains erupt. Baby Eamon was laying in a puddle, when Sir Daddy walked in to see how things were coming.

Baby Eamon flashed the biggest impishest smile at his daddy and began kicking as if he knew what he had done and was rather amused by it. Then Lady Mommy gave him a bath while Sir Daddy cleaned up the mess. And they were slightly late for church. The explosion didn't happen until the next morning, but everyone was prepared, and nothing to eventful came of it. Though he did prove he comfortableness with Lady Aunty Bug by exploding his diaper while sitting on her lap. But that was a different adventure.
