Lady Mommy was on the phone with Lady Aunty Bug. The noble boys were left to their own devices.
From under Lady Mommy's nose, Young Malcolm stole the honey and the cinnamon and took them to his secret lair, calling for his brother, Young Eamon, to show him his loot. Knowing this activity was not approved of by Lady Mommy, Young Eamon did not join in the fun, but neither did he stop his brother, or call for assistance. Rather he watched as Young Malcolm opened the cinnamon container and dumped the fragrant spice all over the floor. Once there was not more cinnamon to dump, Young Malcolm turned his attention to the honey. He manage to open the flip-top lid and hold it upside down for a little while.
When Lady Mommy came to check on her delightfully quiet boys, she was met with a brown sticky mess and a brown sticky boy, and a slightly less brown sticky older boy. They looked up at her with worried eyes and Young Eamon immediately said, "Look what Malcolm did!" distancing himself from the event. When he realized that Lady Mommy was laughing, Young Malcolm got a very impish look on his face, until the Vacuum Monster was called in to help clean up the mess. Then he felt the full terror of his actions as he was shut out of the room, while Lady Mommy tamed the Vacuum Monster.
After the initial mess was cleaned, the clothes were stripped, the hair and faces were wiped down, and things became calmer, both boys were reminded they may never, never get things off the table again.
